To kick things off I want to touch upon someone we all have a personal relationship with:

Father Time.

It could be said that most of us prefer to neglect this relationship; hide from it, ignore it, and avoid it altogether.

Few embrace the prospect of getting old; & I get it.

However, what if, instead of avoiding Father Time, you took control of that relationship?

What if, you politely told Father Time- he is going to have to wait to see you?

It can be done.

People are doing it.

Cars have a model year, & an odometer. They also have a service history.

These three things will tell you alot about the car without even seeing it.

Our model year, our year of birth, is fixed, and something to be proud of. No need to change it.

Our service history, & odometer however, are dynamic, and subject to change.

& it's time to get to work on changing them.

Yes, I know that altering the odometer on a car is illegal- but c'mon, IF you can turn back the odometer in your body 15 years- are you gonna not do it because it's outside the rules?

Ok, let's go.

3 FREE habits that are stellar maintenance for your body & mind- that might just turn back the odometer as well!

The countdown.

#3. Sunbathing. 20-40 minutes at noontime in a speedo or bikini- is a repeatable habit that will bring benefit without consequence. Of course, build up slowly and avoid burning. But know this- lack of sunlight is a far more common and severe problem than too much sun.

#2. Cold Dipping. 55 degrees, 5 minutes, 5 days a week. That is the max you need to get benefit. Don't turn cold dips into a contest. You don't need to sit on ice cubes for hours on end. Repeatable tasks get done, & well- repeated. Ease into this- start with cold dipping just your feet.

#1. Fasting. The cellular renewal & hormonal reset that occurs with fasting are legit and have been used forever, whether people knew how it worked or not. Simply begin by taking a longer stretch between meals: 4 hrs, then 8hrs, then 12, then 16. The 8hr on 16 hr off eating window is repeatable on a daily basis, with occasional 24 fasts done monthly and 72 hr fasts done once a quarter.

To combine these 3 practices is to supercharge each of them, but I remind you the goal is to ease into them over a period of months so that when you pull a 3 day fountain of youth bender: 72 hour fast with morning cold dips and noontime sunbathing- it's a breeze! No burns, no hypothermia, & no starving.

Who knows? Not only might you have to keep Father Time waiting, you may need to give him back some of the gray hair!
